What's Coming!

The next upcoming pattern is "Beach Baby Bingo." It's an adorable tankini pattern for the 13 inch Galoob Baby Face. The top will feature two options of either a skirted top or non-skirted top to make your Baby Face an actual bikini. This should be a fairly easy pattern to sew up. I'm hoping the release of said pattern will be in another week or two. The other current projects is a sweet dress ensemble that will feature a full skirt over an attached crinoline and a removable apron. So that different looks can be achieved. This pattern will feature a short skirt(so that the Baby Face can show off those cute knees!) and a pleated skirt for more fullness and more deeper curves to the skirt. So Loving Laura is modeling off one sewn up in a blue gingham check in a polyester/cotton blend fabric. Paired off with the pink it is so sweet. I'm not sur when the pattern for that will be released as its priority that "Beach Baby Bingo" gets done. I'm a one woman show in case you didn't know. I have a whole line of fabrics picked out to sew up the newest dress ensemble and I'm still kicking around a few names for it. Perhaps "Button & Bows".... Also coming is Ill be starting a new line of patterns for the Disney animator dolls.

"Bitty in Gingham"

This past week I was finally able to finish the "Bitty in Gingham" outfits. These little ensembles were created utilizing the Homespun Kat PDF pattern "Romp and Play." Which is available in my Etsy shop for purchase. The only modification that I did was with the hat. Since the pattern has a brimmed hat I discovered that removing the brim and just adding a ruffle around it the hat seemed rather big. With the brim the hat fits. But for some reason it didn't without it. So I recut the pie shapes for the hat a wee bit more narrow and longer. And then added the ruffle. So it became a better fitting sunbonnet. Otherwise everything else is the same. What I love about this little vintage romper is that you can create it either to look like two separate pieces. Simply by making the pant bottom half of it a different color and/or pattern fabric. As I have done with these. Or make it all with the same fabric.
